John France, PE- Mr. France is a registered professional engineer who is currently a Vice President and National Dam Technology Leader for URS Corporation.  He has 32 years of consulting engineering experience, including service on hundreds of civil engineering projects.  For the past 24 years his professional career has been focused on dam engineering and dam safety services.  During his career, Mr. France has been the owner’s engineer at the time of serious dam safety incidents at three dams, and he has both prepared EAPs and reviewed existing EAPs for a number of dams.  He has served on expert consultant review boards for dam safety projects for the Bureau of Reclamation, the US Army Corps of Engineers and BC Hydro.

Steve Jamieson, PE- Mr. Jamieson is a Principal with W.W. Wheeler and Associates, a water resources engineering firm based in Denver.  In an engineering career that has spanned 24 years, he has experience in all phases of dam engineering including planning, permitting, design, construction, operations, and emergency planning.  He has worked on dam designs or dam safety assignments in 27 different states, prepared more than 75 emergency action plans for dams nationwide, and facilitated table-top or functional exercises for more than 25 different dam emergency action plans.  He has extensive experience with DAMBRK, HEC-1, HEC-RAS, and GIS systems to develop dam failure inundation mapping for emergency planning.  Mr. Jamieson has developed and conducted on-site, dam tender training courses at several locations across the country.

Gregg Batchelder Adams, PE- Mr. Batchelder Adams is a registered professional engineer with over 26 years of experience in geotechnical and civil engineering.  His professional expertise includes dam safety engineering, project management, design, and construction.  He managed a nationwide dam safety inspection program that included 192 dams for the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, including the preparation and training of Emergency Action Plans and Standing Operating Procedures for over 30 high and significant hazard dams. He was the Program Manager and participant in EAP Periodic Test exercises and training sessions for dam operators on 11 USFWS high/significant hazard dams in 6 states (SC, MT, ND, IL, OK, and PA).
