Executive Director - Lori Cannon Spragens

Ms. Spragens is originally from Louisville, Kentucky. She graduated magna cum laude from the University of Kentucky in 1982 with a B.A. in Art History and a B.A. in Visual Art with a specialty in graphic design. She was a Phi Beta Kappa nominee as an undergraduate. Ms. Spragens received her Masters Degree in 1986 in Public Administration, again with distinction. After working for several years at the Council of State Governments, original location of ASDSO, Ms. Spragens was asked in 1988 by the ASDSO leadership to become the director of ASDSO and help lead the effort to find a new location for ASDSO. Ms. Spragens has been the executive director of ASDSO since that time. Ms. Spragens spent 13 years playing organ for the First Presbyterian Church in Mt. Sterling, Kentucky. She has one son and one daughter and two stepdaughters.
Meetings and Membership Director - Susan Amato Sorrell

Ms. Sorrell was raised in Lexington, Kentucky. She graduated summa cum laude from Transylvania University in Lexington in 1981 with a B.A. in Psychology. She graduated from the University of Kentucky with a Masters in Public Administration, also with distinction, in 1984. She worked for Kentucky State government as a legislative researcher for several years before joining ASDSO. Ms. Sorrell participates in various volunteer organizations in Lexington and has three children.
Information Specialist - Sarah McCubbin Mayfield

Sarah Mayfield was raised in Hodgenville, Kentucky. She graduated cum laude from the University of Kentucky, with Bachelor of Arts degrees in Psychology (1975) and Elementary Education (1979). In 1988, she received a Masters in Elementary Education from Georgetown College, also with distinction. Prior to working for ASDSO, Ms. Mayfield taught in elementary and middle schools in Lexington for over twelve years; taught English and worked on video productions in Guatemala; and worked as a librarian at the Withers Memorial Library in Nicholasville, Kentucky. Sarah has one daughter.
Marketing and Conference Management - Maureen Chinn Hogle

Ms. Hogle was born and raised in Escondido, CA. Graduated Centre City High School May 1996. Entered Palomar Community College September 1996. Moved to Nicholasville, KY August 1997. Started at UK in August/September 1997. Graduated Cum Laude from the University of Kentucky in August 2000 with a Bachelor's in Business Administration majoring in Management. Maureen is married and volunteers more than 70 hours each month toward social issues.
