Dam owners are solely responsible for the safety and the liability of their dam, so owners must be informed on all aspects of operating and maintaining a dam safely.
To make accessing guidance information easy, ASDSO has developed the Dam Owner Academy video series. The series is a free resource for owners and those conducting owner outreach programs, and each video concisely explores one critical aspect of ownership. ASDSO has also developed a series of fact sheets, many of which supplement the material in the videos.
In June 2023, ASDSO released four new entries into the series The videos are:
Plants & Animals on Dams
Recommended Fact Sheets: Ground Cover, Trees and Brush & Rodent Control
