1. Is Dam Safety 2021 in-person or virtual?

This year’s conference will once again be in person, but we will also offer an On-Demand component for those who cannot yet travel. During registration, attendees will be able to select if they are joining us at Music City Center in Nashville (with full access to all On-Demand content following the conference) or if they will be accessing the content On-Demand only.

2. Do in-person attendees get access to the On-Demand content?

In-person attendees will receive full access to all On-Demand content following the conference. That includes the two general sessions, 38 concurrent sessions, all of the poster-lightning talks, and additional presentations that are On-Demand only.

3. What COVID-19 protections will be in place for in-person attendees?

ASDSO has been working with Music City Center and the city of Nashville to follow all COVID-19 protocols and ensure a safe event for attendees. ASDSO has already implemented changes such as social distancing measures and methods to assist with traffic flow. As we approach the event, ASDSO will provide all attendees with a detailed plan.

4. Will the On-Demand portion of the conference be a recording of the in-person event?

Yes, most sessions will be recordings of the live sessions from Dam Safety 2021 in Nashville. This will allow On-Demand registrants to get the full session experience complete with any Q&A that occurred on-site. Other sessions will be recordings specifically made for the digital platform. All On-Demand content will be organized into sessions, similar to the live event, to make finding and viewing content streamlined.

5. When will I be able to register and book my hotel?

Registration is open NOW, and hotel information is available online. To view a list of invited presenters, hotel information, and registration information, visit DamSafety.org/DS21.
