ASDSO Events Update in Response to COVID19

ASDSO continues to monitor the rapidly changing situation related to the spread of COVID-19 and is committed to reducing the risk of adverse health impacts to members, guests and staff that participate in ASDSO committee meetings, conferences and events.

ASDSO Event Information: 

Events that have been altered, cancelled, or postponed due to travel restrictions or health precautions are listed below. The following information will be updated as events warrant—always with the health and safety of our event attendees, exhibitors and staff as our top priority. Any cancellations or changes will be communicated to registered attendees via email when they are announced and posted online.

  • The Technical Knowledge Base Task Group meeting scheduled for April 23-24 has been cancelled. 
  • HEC-RAS - The HEC-RAS classroom seminar scheduled for May 5-7 in Austin, TX has been changed to July 28-30 in Phoenix, AZ. 
  • Southeast Regional Conference - The Southeast Regional Conference scheduled for May 11-13 in Charleston, SC has been rescheduled for December 7-10. 
  • HEC-RAS 2D - The HEC-RAS 2D classroom seminar scheduled for May 19-21 in Austin, TX has been changed to October 27-29 in Chicago, IL. 
  • Basic Soil Mechanics Related to Earth Dams - The Basic Soil Mechanics Related to Earth Dams classroom seminar scheduled for June 2-4 has been changed to a virtual seminar. *event details are still being finalized.
  • Seepage Through Earth Dams - The Seepage Through Earth Dams classroom seminar scheduled for June 23-25 has been changed to a virtual seminar.

For events that do go on, we commit to working with the facilities to ensure all appropriate sanitary, health, and safety measures are followed and encourage attendees to follow guidelines recommended by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the World Health Organization.
