Dallon Thomas (Tom) Woosley, P.E.
GA Department of Natural Resources/Safe Dams Program

Mr. Woosley is currently the Program Manager for Georgia’s Safe Dams Program. Mr. Woosley graduated with a Bachelors of Science, Civil Engineering from Tennessee Technological University in 1985. He has spent the past 28 years in the Safe Dams Program, conducting over 1000 inspections of dams, reviewing hundreds of design reports, and responding to numerous emergency responses with dams. He has attended training sessions on hydraulics, hydrology, and dam safety. He has also made numerous presentations related to dam safety issues. Mr. Woosley currently serves on the chair of the ASDSO Training Committee and has served on the Board of Directors and is a Past-President of the association.

Bobby Sauer, P.E.
GA Department of Natural Resources/Safe Dams Program

Mr. Sauer joined the Georgia Safe Dams Program in 2010 after 9 years in environmental consulting. With the Safe Dams Program, Mr. Sauer performs dam inspections and emergency responses, reviews design plans for high-hazard dams, writes permits and enforcement orders, and reviews Emergency Action Plans. Mr. Sauer graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science in Civil Engineering and a Master’s of Science in Environmental Engineering, both from the Georgia Institute of Technology. He currently serves as vice president for the American Society of Civil Engineers’ South Metro Atlanta Branch.
