HEC-RAS with an Introduction to HEC-RAS 2D: Seminar Details

Course Rates:

  • Member Rate: $950 on or before April 3/$1,000 after April 3
  • Non-Member Rate: $1,050 on or before April 3/$1,100 after April 3

Cancellation Policy:

To receive a refund, all cancellation requests must be received in writing on or before April 10, 2018. All refunds received on or before the cut off date will receive a full refund minus a $75 processing fee. After April 10, 2018 no refunds will be given.

PDH Information:

Attendees will receive up-to 29.5 professional development hours for the completion of all course work. New York State-licensed engineers: This course meets the eligibility requirements for continuing education credits in New York. In order to receive the NY certificate, participants must be present for the entirety of the seminar, sign the attendee list, and complete the learning assessment(s).

Overnight Accommodations:

The Mt. Washington Conference Center is offering attendees overnight accommodations at $139 per night. To book your room and receive the contracted rate participants should call the Conference Center's reservation department at 800-488-8734 and identify the program name "Association of State Dam Safety Officials". Reservations for the program must be received by Monday, March 19, 2018. After this date the room block will close, and the rate cannot be guaranteed.

Mt. Washington Village is located within walking distance and includes a variety of restaurants and shopping. In addition, the Mt. Washington Conference Center is within walking distance of the light rail station making it minutes to travel to Downtown Baltimore and the Inner Harbor.

Traveling into the Mt Washington Conference Center is convenient with Baltimore/Washington International Airport (BWI) approximately 25 minutes away and Washington DC is only one hour away. In addition, the Penn Train Station is approximately 10 minutes away.

Parking:

Hotel parking is complimentary.

Attendees Should Bring:

Participants should bring a calculator and laptop computer with the latest version of HEC-RAS installed. Participants must have administrative rights to their computers and be able to write to the hard drive and add the workshop info.

Prerequisites:

Participants should have an undergraduate engineering degree. It is advised that registrants prepare for this classroom course by viewing the ASDSO Webinar: Hydraulics 101. Available in either on-demand or downloadable format at the ASDSO Learning Center.
