Description:

The Association of State Dam Safety Officials (ASDSO), the Indiana Association for Floodplain and Stormwater Management (INAFSM), and the Dam Safety Section of the Indiana Department of Natural Resources (IDNR), invites you to participate in a one-day Dam Information, Resources, and Training (DIRT) Conference for Dam Owners, Operators, and Local Officials on Tuesday, June 11, 2019, at Valle Vista Golf Club & Conference Center, 755 East Main Street, Greenwood, IN, 46143. Parking is free and is available at the conference center.

This multi-speaker conference has been created to bring dam owner/operators together with members of the professional dam safety community and various supporting professions.

Are you a relatively new dam owner, newly elected ownership board member, or just want to strengthen your knowledge of basic terminology and fundamental dam safety issues? Then consider joining our new Dam Ownership 101 Track. You will gain a better understanding of ownership responsibilities and the various technical aspects of reducing the risk of a dam failure. This track will take place during morning registration and will conclude before the conference begins so you won’t miss a thing. This track is free with a paid registration.
