Abstract/Additional Information
The General Accounting Office assessed the Health and Human Services, Energy, and Commerce Departments and the Environmental Protection Agency to see what measures they have implemented to protect their critical infrastructures and assets from cyber- and physical attacks. The GAO also evaluated the private-sector industries of information technology, telecommunications, energy, electricity, and water supply and the level of cooperation and interaction between the private-sector organizations and their federal counterparts.
