Funding for Dam Repair and Rehabilitation

States' responses to the following request:
- State Funding Programs: Are there any state-provided and currently available funds for rehabilitation or repair of non-state owned dams? Is it a loan or grant program? Is there a match required? How are decisions made on which projects to fund? Is the funding limited to publicly owned dams, or can the program fund privately-owned dams? How much funding is available? Finally, in the last 2 years, how many dams were rehabilitated or repaired using these funds?
- Federal Funding Programs: Have federal funds been used for dam rehabilitation of or repair of non-federal dams in your state? If so, what was the federal funding source? If known, how much funding has been provided or is available?
- Other Funding Programs: Are you aware of any other sources having been used for dam rehab (not those listed above) in your state, other than the owner’s own funds? If so, please provide a description.
