Abstract/Additional Information
To provide background for a discussion on criteria in current use for determining incremental damages for sizing emergency spillways, ASDSO sent an inquiry (at the request of Colorado) to the state representatives and to members of ICODS. A table summarizes the agencies’ responses as to what increase in depth and/or velocity is considered to cause significant incremental damages. Text in the “Comments” column was selected and copied from the individual states’ responses. The complete text of the responses is appended.
