Presa de Montearagon [The Montearagon dam]

The Montearagon reservoir will have a capacity of 51.5 hm³ which will serve to irrigate 6,350 hectares of land and provide a water supply to the city of Huesca. The works will also serve to split the river Flumen freshets. The Montearagon dam, set on the Flumen river, is a 86 m high concrete gravity dam with a 338 m long topping. The works will be formed by a dam and appurtenant works.
