Single EAP for Multiple Dams

State dam safety program responses to an inquiry on EAPs for a few groups of watershed district dams that have a shared Emergency Manager, shared ownership, and potentially affect the same community. "...an extreme storm will affect these closely located dams and could create simultaneous problems at more than one if not all locations. The idea of creating one EAP for this group of multiple dams under common ownership (and other like them) has been suggested. There is some merit to this idea as I see it, but it is new territory for us. I am wondering if any other states have reviewed and approved one EAP that covers multiple dams..."
