As you progress in your dam safety career you may ask, “How do I find my niche so I can make a meaningful impact on the industry?” This panel of experts will discuss the unique paths they took from beginners in the industry to leaders in their field. It will follow how they became a leader in such areas of National Inventory of Dams, Human Factors, Grouting, Meteorology, and Dam Safety Program management. They will share their greatest accomplishments, and most difficult challenges, and how they learned from both. The panel will share the lessons they wished they would have known starting out and how to gain not only experience, but the right experience to succeed in a career in dam safety today.
