In August 2015, an Environmental Protection Agency crew triggered a mine blowout near Silverton, Colorado. The Majority staff of the Committee on Natural Resources investigated the disaster and the Obama Administration’s subsequent response to and reports on the event. The Committee’s investigation findings are included.
