General Session 2: Colorado River Past, Present and Future

The Tuesday General Session will inform dam safety professionals about the history and current state of the Colorado River operations and water policy Experts will discuss the importance of the Colorado River and its impact on the growth of the United States. The audience will learn more about what it means to be a State within the Upper and Lower Basins and speakers will bring their unique perspectives from both viewpoints. Topics will range from historic water issues facing decisionmakers in both Basins, how the recent drought has impacted each Basin differently, and how current runoff, hydrology and operations issues have affected life in the Basins.
