Abstract/Additional Information

The study focuses on targeting the Finite Element Method (FEM) analysis of a levee section under transient condition simulation. The primary objective is to investigate the behavior of the levee section during different stages of a flood hydrograph. To achieve this, the study considers different stages of the hydrograph, including rising, peak and recession stages. The FEM analysis is used to model the levee section and simulate the transient condition under each stage of the flood hydrograph. The analysis results are then used to evaluate the performance of the levee section, including the changes in deformation, pore water pressure and stability during the flood event. The study findings will help improve the understanding of levee behavior under different stages of a flood hydrograph, which can contribute to the development of more effective flood protection strategies.
