State Budget Breakdown for Fees vs. General Revenue

Information request Missouri: Ryan Stack of Missouri Dam Safety is looking for information on state budgets related to funding by fees vs. general revenue. Missouri's question is what states are fee funded and/or partial fee funded, and any lessons learned from the state's perspective? Ryan will reach out to states that respond.

ASDSO collected information on fees from states in 2004 and then updated and verified the information with many states in 2014 and 2016. That information is in the attached pdf. Please take a look at the information and let us know if any updates are needed. This information doesn't provide a breakdown of how much of the program is fee funded so we will add a column for "Percentage of Program that is Fee Funded." We will also add a column for lessons learned about fee funding. All of this information will compiled and shared with the states and published on the ASDSO website.
