Lee has experience in applying risk-informed decision-making, flood consequences, flood hydrology/hydraulics, and early warning systems for dam safety programs. He has managed a national Early Warning System program, responsible for monitoring and mitigating risk at over 100 dams, including more than 400 sites and 4,000 various sensors. Lee co-chairs the ASDSO Dam Failures and Incidents Committee, serves on the ASDSO Annual Conference Program Committee, and supports the ASDSO Journal of Dam Safety by organizing quarterly book reviews. He was the recipient of the 2021 ASDSO Young Professional Award, which recognizes professionals under 40 years of age working in the dam safety field that have made outstanding contributions to the association, their respective organizations, and/or the dam safety industry in general.
