In order to further the cause of dam safety and dam safety awareness, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Omaha District, in conjunction with the State of Montana Disaster Emergency Services, the State of North Dakota Disaster Emergency Management Division, and five counties generally located between the Fort Peck Dam and Williston, North Dakota, conducted an earthquake/flood disaster safety exercise.
