The stress analysis of the ship lock of the Gezhouba project was studied using three-dimensional photoelasticity method. The gravity dams located at the soft ground base were also discussed. The results showed that maximum tensile stress was 1 MPa, which was located in the middle part of the boundary floor. Main heading:Locks (on waterways)
