Additional Remarks or Updates A rehabilitation project was in progress, and part of the construction area was protected by a sheet pile cofferdam. High flows, purportedly enhanced by increased releases from an upstream dam, associated with spring runoff caused the cofferdam to become unstable, tip downstream, and be overtopped.
