Your Instructor Timeline/Checklist


DUE: To be returned to ASDSO as soon as possible after verbal agreement is in place.

  1. Signed contract - Sign the electronic copy that ASDSO sends to you. If you prefer to email click here.
  2. Signed W-9 form.  Download the form from the link, complete form, scan and email to Jennifer Burns.
  3. Final Webinar title.
  4. Digital photo for each presenter.  Professional head shot preferred, but not required.
  5. Five Digital images related to your webinar topic that we may use in advertising the course. Images should be high resolution and at least two in landscape format, do not include thumbnail images.
  6. Completed Marketing Worksheet, ASDSO will send to you.
  7. Discussion call for expectations and remaining timelines (Jennifer Burns will contact you)
  8. Discuss ASDSO template to be used for presentations.

DUE: 3 Months Prior to Webinar Date

  1. Submit the webinar agenda in outline form, specifying the topics that will be covered.  
  2. Schedule speaker practice session(s) with ASDSO.
  3. View a live or archived version of an ASDSO webinar.  Review the course catalog at the ASDSO Training Website and coordinate with Jennifer on which webinar you would like to view.

DUE: 5 Weeks prior to the Webinar Date

NOTE: The materials listed below should be as complete as possible, as they will be evaluated for the awarding of professional development hours (PDHs) to this training event. You will have time to make minor revisions before the deadline for submitting your final materials just prior to the webinar.

  1. Submit a solid draft of your PowerPoint presentation.
  2. Submit the Post-Webinar Quiz questions and answers. This is the quiz that participants must pass to receive the PDH certificate at the end of the webinar. See this Sample. Please include exactly 10 single-answer questions.

DUE: 1-2 weeks prior to the Webinar Date

  1. Participate in speaker training session(s).
  2. Finalize your PowerPoint presentation and all other visuals (videos, animations). The PowerPoint presentation should contain approximately 90-150 slides. Review the "Best Practices" guidelines.  Make sure to use the ASDSO template for presentations.
  3. Submit any handouts/course materials that you want attendees to be able to access to support your webinar.  These handouts can include additional references or exercises.  ASDSO will automatically include a PDF version of the presentation as a handout.
