Aimee Corn is a senior project structural engineer at GFT with over 12 years of experience, specializing in the evaluation and analysis of existing concrete dams and reinforced-concrete hydraulic structures. She is a licensed Professional Engineer in multiple states and serves as a FERC-approved Independent Consultant. Aimee’s technical expertise includes concrete gravity, arch, and slab-and-buttress dams. She has performed numerous linear and non-linear finite element analyses to assess dam performance under various loading conditions. 
She holds a Bachelor of Science in civil engineering from Seattle University and a Master of Science in civil engineering from Colorado State University. Aimee is passionate about the dam industry and committed to the stewardship of our critical aging infrastructure, ensuring its safety and resilience for future generations. She is a strong advocate for mentorship and takes pride in connecting people and helping others find their place to grow within the industry.
