Abstract/Additional Information

URS and ERM developed an instrumentation database program for the Association of State Dam Safety Officials. This program will be distributed to many small to medium size dam owners throughout the US. The application is being built using Microsoft Access 2000. The database and graphics program will manage instrumentation data associated with the following types of geotechnical instruments: -Open-standpipe piezometers; -Weirs, -Parshall Flumes; -Reservoir Gauges; -Rainfall Gauges. The application will reduce manually entered readings, produce several fixed format readings reports and provide time series data plots. These standardized reports and plots can then be sent to the various Dam Safety Officials for annual dam safety review purposes.
