Design of Arch Dams

This manual presents instructions, examples, procedures, and standards for use in the design of concrete arch dams. It serves as a guide to sound engineering practices in the design of concrete arch dams and provides the technically trained, qualified design engineer with specialized and technical information that can be readily used in the design of such a dam. The manual came into being because of the numerous requests made to the Bureau for its latest concepts on the design of concrete dams. Update of 1977 publication. (NTIS abstract)
