Abstract/Additional Information
The construction of main dam for the Yamula hydropower and irrigation project is discussed. Design and construction of dam embankments, river diversion, reservoir, bottom outlet and spillway are also presented. The project is expected to start production on 1 May 2005 when it is connected with the national grid.
