Notified State official and the on-call engineer right away. Started pumping the seepage collection pond, suspended plant operation and mobilized construction equipments to construct additional seepage berms and buttress to the dam embankment. |
Additional Remarks or Updates |
Dam embankment was stabilized by Jan 1, 2018. Subsequent works to assess the cause and implement a permanent repair continued. The repair was completed in March 2018 and the dam was returned to full operation. |
