Paul currently serves as a Vice President of Gannett Fleming and National Practice Leader for Dams. He has over 35 years of consulting engineering experience and has served as a project engineer or manager for the design of eleven new dams, including four NRCS dams, and the design and technical review of many dam rehabilitation projects.

Dean is a Senior Consultant and Vice President at Gannett Fleming and has nearly 35 years of engineering experience as a geotechnical and dam safety engineer having performed inspections, assessments, and risk analyses of over 500 dams. Dean is the Past President of US Society on Dams (USSD) and currently serves as Vice President of the International Commission on Large Dams (ICOLD).
Darren A. Mack, P.E., G.E.

Darren is an area Manager and chief geotechnical engineer overseeing Gannett Fleming’s Geotechnical, Dams, and Hydraulics services in California. He received his bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Davis, and his master’s degree from the University of California, Berkely. He has over 25 years of professional engineering experience with a diverse background in both geotechnical engineering and civil/structural design. He is an approved FERC Part 12D independent consultant experienced in Part 12D dam safety inspection, potential failure modes analysis (PFMA), and has participated in semi-quantitative risk assessment (SQRA). Darren’s experience includes design of dam safety improvement projects, including seepage mitigation and spillway rehabilitation projects. He is experienced with facility evaluation of multiple kinds of water resources and water conveyance assets, including dams, and provided a Safety Assurance Review for multiple dam and levee safety projects.
