Abstract/Additional Information
The NPDP, founded in 1994 and located at Stanford University, is devoted to the collection of current and historical information on the performance of dams for the purpose of supporting dam engineering and safety. The archive, coupled with an ongoing evaluation of dam performance data, provides a national capability to monitor the state of the nation's dams, contributes to the advancement of dam engineering, and supports effective dam safety policy. 12 pp., 15 references.
