New Jersey Dam Owner Workshop- Hamilton Township
The Association of State Dam Safety Officials (ASDSO), in conjunction with the NJ Department of Environmental Protection, invites you to participate in a one-day Dam Owner Workshop in Hamilton Township, New Jersey, on March 24, 2026.
The workshop is designed to provide practical, straightforward information on topics of importance to dam owners and those with an interest in dams. The purpose of this one-day workshop is to provide education/information on the following topics:
- Course Introduction
- Basic Dam Terminology and Function
- Dam Types and Purpose
- Causes of Dam Failures and How They Relate to Dam Maintenance
- Maintenance Problems and Solutions
- Operation
All attendees must register by March 16, 2026 and space is limited. No walk-ins will be accepted. The registration fee is $20 per person. A light breakfast and lunch are included in the registration fee.
Attendee check-in will begin at 8:00 am and the workshop will start at 8:15 am and end at 4:00 pm Eastern time. Information will be available throughout the day, and you will have the opportunity to meet and network with your state dam safety officials and other dam owners. You will receive electronic access to course materials.
